My NYC Reads Pledge

I promise to join NYC Reads in promoting early literacy so that all children have the support they need to succeed in school and beyond.

As a parent or caregiver, I will fulfill this promise by reading daily with my child(ren) and striving to participate in the free programs offered by NYC Reads partners. As a local business, I will fulfill this promise by publicizing NYC Reads and partnering whenever possible.

I make this promise because I care deeply about the children in my community and believe that early literacy is foundational to their long term well-being and achievement.
